Role: Principal AI Platform Engineer
Location: Arlington VA (Initially remote, client might ask for Travelling.)

We need Principal AI Platform Engineer role with our Client. This position requires strong hands-on expertise in AWS infrastructure and modern AI platform engineering.
The role focuses on building an agentic AI platform on AWS, including:
Operating LLM-powered applications and agentic workflows using Amazon Bedrock and Bedrock AgentCore services
Building a robust LLMOps framework, including model orchestration, prompt/version management, evaluation pipelines, and monitoring
Implementing the supporting ecosystem around Bedrock, including:
Vector databases (e.g., OpenSearch, Aurora PostgreSQL with pgvector)
Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures
Guardrails and policy enforcement for responsible AI
Model evaluation, benchmarking, and feedback loops
Integrating AWS AI-native services such as:
Amazon Q (Developer / Business) for enterprise knowledge and conversational interfaces
SageMaker for model training, fine-tuning, and pipeline orchestration
Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge for workflow automation and orchestration
Establishing secure, scalable, and compliant infrastructure, including IAM policies, networking, and observability aligned with enterprise standards
Enabling integration with downstream analytical and application layers (e.g., APIs, data platforms, enterprise systems)
