Front-End Developer (Hybrid)

Location: Dearborn, MI
Schedule: Hybrid (4 days onsite per week)

Compensation: $58-60 per hour with benefits

Epitec is seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to join a dynamic development team focused on building modern, user-friendly web applications. This role is ideal for a developer who is passionate about creating exceptional user experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging modern front-end technologies to deliver impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with stakeholders and end users to understand business needs, pain points, and requirements.
Design, develop, and deliver high-quality front-end solutions using modern web technologies and frameworks.
Create responsive, accessible, and engaging user interfaces that align with enterprise design standards.
Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, back-end developers, architects, and other team members throughout the development lifecycle.
Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize and improve new features and functionality.
Participate in UI design reviews, product demonstrations, and feedback sessions.
Perform automated functional testing and UI testing to ensure application quality and reliability.
Troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and continuously optimize application performance.
Ensure adherence to architecture standards, coding best practices, accessibility requirements, and SEO principles.
Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to improve development efficiency and user experience.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
6+ years of overall IT experience.
4+ years of hands-on software development experience.
Practical experience in at least two programming languages or advanced expertise in one programming language.
Strong front-end development experience using:
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- React and/or Angular
Experience building responsive and mobile-friendly web applications.
Familiarity with automated testing and UI testing practices.
Understanding of cross-browser compatibility, accessibility standards, and SEO best practices.
Experience collaborating within Agile or cross-functional development teams.
