The consultant will implement, customize, and test solutions on client systems and develop client-specific enhancements to meet business requirements as needed.
- Prepare, design, realize and support Go-Lives for customer implementation projects
- Support feasibility studies and process design reviews
- Detailed planning of process implementation
- Detailed blueprinting for development requirements
- Develop and Assure quality of process models
- Demonstrate profound knowledge of modeling standards and tools
- Support the development of overall project plans (scoping process) as well as individual work plans; acting as liaison with client for troubleshooting (investigates, analyses, and solves software problems)
- Analyze and map clients' business requirements, processes, and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
- Support the NA Services Organization with implementation projects, pre-sales support (estimating), spot consulting and internal projects and commit to the success of customers, partners, colleagues, and SAP
- Up to 50% travel may be required (when travel returns to normal pre-COVID levels)
QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESIn addition to a bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or related discipline, and a minimum of 7 years' progressive experience, the successful candidate will possess:
- Minimum 8 years of consulting experience, Graduate degree a plus.
- Involved in at least 2 full cycle implementations of SAP S/4HANA Production Engineering and Operations.
- Experience with Discrete Manufacturing & Core Logistics business processes in S/4HANA Manufacturing, production planning, execution, logistics and quality management a plus
- Prior experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and SAP Complex Assembly Manufacturing Solution (CAMS) a plus
- Formal SAP certification preferred
- Aerospace & Defense industry experience
- Knowledge of SAP's Design to Operate (DTO)
- Experience with SAP Implementation Methodologies (ASAP, Activate, Sprints, Advanced Deployment, etc.)
- Customer facing experience with strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact at all levels within client company

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 151900 to 340900 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
