Location: Remote (Only for people in the US are eligible)

We are seeking a WordPress Front-End Developer with strong experience in WordPress theme/child-theme development and web accessibility remediation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in implementing WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA compliance across WordPress websites and Gutenberg-based solutions.

<>Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain WordPress themes, child themes, and Gutenberg components.
  • Perform WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA accessibility remediation across WordPress websites.
  • Implement and validate ARIA attributes, keyboard navigation, focus management, and color contrast compliance.
  • Conduct accessibility testing using axe, WAVE, NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure accessible and responsive user experiences.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve accessibility, usability, and front-end issues.
