Through work with the team you will have the unique opportunity to impact products all across Apple, because here new ideas have a way of becoming great products, services, and customer experiences very quickly.\\n\\nWe are looking for an engineer to design, develop and deploy calibration and test instrumentation systems for Apple's world class products. This engineer will work closely with cross-functional groups (Design, ME, EE, SW, Ops, etc.) throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase to ensure the success of current and future Apple products.\\n

You will be responsible for the design specification, bring up, validation and deployment of automated instrumentation to calibrate and test Apple's products through NPI and mass production.

BS in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or related discipline\n2+ years professional experience (or equivalent) in design, development, debug, validation and working with electro-mechanical systems\nBasic understanding of hardware concepts and EE fundamentals (i.e. HW architecture, Control System, Signal processing etc.)\nProgramming skills in one or more of the following: C/C++/Objective-C, Python, Lua\n\n

Working knowledge of consumer electronics modules like sensors (light/force/pressure/touch/motion) and/or acoustics (speaker/microphone).\nExperience with digital signal processing (DSP).\nUnderstanding of test principles, GRR, experience with test automation and optimization.\nExperience in high volume consumer electronics manufacturing.\nExperience analyzing, processing, plotting, and mining large data sets.\nUnderstanding of test principles, GRR, experience with test automation and optimization.\nStrong analytical/problem solving skills and ability to manage many priorities across multiple disciplines.\nExperience or deep understanding of AI/ML modeling.\nStrong analytical/problem solving skills and ability to handle many priorities across teams.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nDomestic and international travel may be required (up to 10%).
