Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer to support enterprise eCommerce and payment initiatives. This role requires strong experience in automation testing, API/backend validation, payment processing workflows, and end-to-end order lifecycle testing.

The ideal candidate will work across frontend and backend systems and collaborate closely with development, business, and product teams to ensure reliable and high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute automated and functional test cases for payment and eCommerce applications.
Test payment integrations across multiple payment methods and countries.
Perform end-to-end validation covering payment authorization, order processing, fulfillment, and revenue recognition.
Test REST APIs, backend services, web services, and system integrations.
Validate Salesforce eCommerce applications and OMS/MAO workflows.
Perform regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
Develop and maintain automation frameworks and reusable automated test suites.
Write SQL queries for backend and data validation.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, defect triage, root-cause analysis, and release validation.
Support continuous testing through Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Qualifications

7 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering / Automation Testing.
Strong hands-on automation testing experience.
Strong experience with REST API and backend testing.
Good SQL skills for data validation.
Programming experience with Python or another programming language.
Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience testing Salesforce eCommerce applications.
Experience testing payment gateways/processors.
Experience with OMS/MAO and order lifecycle testing.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to independently manage assigned workstreams.

Preferred Skills

Adyen payment gateway experience.
Boomi integration testing.
Revenue Recognition (RevRec) validation.
Retail or eCommerce domain experience.
