Location: Houston, TX (4 days hybrid onsite)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Python Engineer with experience in Kubernetes, AWS, and energy trading systems. The ideal candidate will develop scalable applications, work on cloud-based solutions, and support trading platforms in the energy domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications using Python
- Design and deploy solutions on AWS cloud
- Work with Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
- Build and support energy trading platforms and related workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance system performance
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Python development
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.)
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
- Knowledge of energy trading, commodities, or power markets
- Good understanding of APIs, microservices, and system integration
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with real-time data processing or trading systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
