Job Title: Windchill / PLM Consultant

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Required Experience Level: 5+ years with Windchill, overall 10+ years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Windchill / PLM Consultant to support the implementation, customization, and maintenance of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions. The role involves working closely with business and technical teams to improve product data management, streamline engineering processes, and ensure system efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

•         Implement and configure Windchill PLM solutions based on business requirements

•         Work with stakeholders to understand product lifecycle processes and translate them into system solutions

•         Customize Windchill using tools like workflows, lifecycles, and business rules

•         Manage data migration, integration, and system upgrades

•         Provide support for issue resolution, troubleshooting, and system enhancements

•         Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and IT

•         Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides

•         Ensure system performance, scalability, and data integrity

•         Support change management and release processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

•         Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

•         5+ years of experience in PLM implementations, with strong expertise in Windchill

•         Hands-on experience with Windchill modules such as PDMLink, ProjectLink, or MPMLink

•         Good understanding of product lifecycle processes (BOM, change management, configuration management)

•         Experience with Windchill customization (Java, JSP, or APIs)

•         Knowledge of database systems (Oracle, SQL Server)

•         Familiarity with system integrations (ERP, CAD tools like Creo, SolidWorks)

•         Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Educational Qualifications:

• Required - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent.
• Preferred - Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent.

·   Open to travel based up on the nature of the engagement.
