Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer with strong T-SQL and SQL Server expertise to support data engineering and database development initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services, ETL/ELT processes, data pipeline development, and SQL performance optimization
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
Develop complex and optimized T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and database objects.
Work extensively with SQL Server for database development and data processing.
Design and implement data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Work with various Microsoft Azure data services to support enterprise data solutions.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and database processes.
Perform SQL Server performance tuning and query optimization.
Analyze data requirements and translate business needs into technical data solutions.
Collaborate with developers, architects, business analysts, and other technical teams.
Ensure data quality, integrity, reliability, and efficient processing across data platforms
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience in Data Engineering and/or Database Development.
Strong hands-on experience with T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure data services.
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data pipeline development.
Experience with SQL performance tuning and optimization.
Strong knowledge of database design, development, and troubleshooting.
Experience developing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
