Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Development Engineer to join our client's team in a professional services capacity.

The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering teams to leverage an internal developer platform, understand existing application architectures, and develop onboarding and migration strategies. This role requires strong expertise in cloud technologies, full-stack development, databases, networking, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure as code.

The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile environment, translating customer requirements into technical solutions, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with multiple engineering teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of software development experience with TypeScript, Golang, or Python.

  • 5+ years of experience with AWS, CI/CD, and developer workflow automation.

  • Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Flux.

  • 4+ years of experience with Docker and containerization technologies.

  • 4+ years of database experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.

  • 4+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CDK, or similar tools.

  • 4+ years of experience with APM and monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch, New Relic, or Grafana.

  • Experience using AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Windsurf for rapid prototyping and development.

  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, full-stack applications, and common design patterns.

  • Excellent communication, technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree required.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience building and maintaining Developer Platforms.

  • Experience creating technical documentation for engineering teams.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as:

    • DynamoDB

    • EC2

    • EKS

    • SQS / SNS

    • RDS

  • Strong application troubleshooting and configuration debugging skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple engineering teams.
