DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in AWS, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Kubernetes/Amazon EKS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, automating, deploying, and maintaining scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure and CI/CD environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules and configurations for AWS infrastructure provisioning.
• Manage and support Amazon EKS / Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployments using Terraform and IaC best practices.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
• Work with Docker and containerized applications and deploy workloads to Kubernetes/EKS.
• Implement AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, Load Balancer, Auto Scaling, and EKS.
• Implement infrastructure monitoring, logging, security, and troubleshooting across AWS environments.
• Manage Git-based source control and infrastructure code repositories.
• Collaborate with development, QA, security, and architecture teams to improve deployment automation and reliability.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, Kubernetes, deployment, networking, and application-related issues.
• Follow cloud security, scalability, availability, and cost-optimization best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Hands-on experience with Amazon EKS and/or Kubernetes.
• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Good understanding of AWS networking, IAM, security, and cloud architecture.
• Experience with scripting using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• AWS certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, or SysOps Administrator.
• Experience creating reusable Terraform modules.
• Experience with Helm and Kubernetes package management.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD.
• Experience with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and cloud security best practices.
• Experience with Terraform state management, remote backends, workspaces, and Terraform Cloud.
