Job DetailsWe are seeking a Controls Engineer to design, program, and support industrial automation systems from concept through commissioning. This role works closely with mechanical, electrical, and project teams to deliver reliable, production-ready control solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and program PLC- and HMI-based control systems for automated equipment and processes
Develop and modify control logic, operator interfaces, and system documentation
Support system integration, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and on-site commissioning
Troubleshoot control system issues during build, test, and startup phases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project scope, schedule, and quality expectations
Provide technical support and continuous improvement of existing automation systems
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Experience with PLC programming and industrial control systems
Familiarity with HMIs, industrial networks, sensors, and control panels
Ability to troubleshoot electrical and software-related automation issues
Comfortable working in manufacturing or industrial environments
Preferred Experience
Experience in system integration or automation project environments
Exposure to testing, commissioning, or on-site startup support
Strong communication skills for working with internal teams and clients
Willingness to travel as required for project support
