Senior Power Platform Developer – Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Power Platform (HHSC Environment)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Power Platform Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, developing, and enhancing enterprise applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI within SaaS and PaaS environments.

In this role, the consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to build scalable solutions, automate business processes, and deliver enterprise data and reporting capabilities. The selected candidate will also contribute to system design, workflow optimization, and application development while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Experience supporting Health and Human Services (HHS) agencies or government environments is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

·         Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Platform technologies

·         Build Model-driven and Canvas Power Apps to support business operations

·         Develop and maintain Power Automate flows, including business process and desktop automation flows

·         Integrate applications using Dataverse, SharePoint, or other database backends

·         Create Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions for enterprise data insights

·         Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions

·         Evaluate existing business systems and recommend improvements aligned with strategic goals

·         Identify opportunities to optimize workflows using automation and process reengineering methodologies

·         Document system functionalities, user requirements, and technical specifications

·         Conduct solution analysis including cost-benefit, ROI, and build-vs-buy evaluations

·         Support application deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancements

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile sprint environments

·         Participate in development planning, system testing, and production support

Required Skills & Qualifications

·         8+ years of experience working in SaaS or PaaS environments delivering enterprise software solutions

·         5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Apps, and Power Automate

·         4+ years of Power Platform development experience

·         Experience developing Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps using Dataverse, SharePoint, or other database backends

·         Experience creating and managing Power Automate flows, desktop flows, and business process flows

·         Strong understanding of Dataverse tables and data structures

·         Knowledge of Power Pages portals

·         Familiarity with Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center

·         Experience developing reporting solutions using Power BI

·         Knowledge of Articulate 360 / Reach 360 tools

·         Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications (Plusses)

·         Experience working with Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) agencies

·         Experience developing and supporting Power Platform mobile applications

·         Experience working in Agile development environments and sprint planning

·         Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional technical and functional teams

·         Microsoft Power Platform certification
