Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support Data Warehouse Informatica PowerCenter ETL processes, Informatica administration, and the redesign/implementation of OMH projects.
- Analyze and translate complex patient health data business requirements (admission, discharge, census, financial, billing, HR, payroll, Medicaid, and Pharmacy) into ETL code.
- Lead development efforts in designing Informatica PowerCenter ETL and database architecture using Kimball Star Schema and Dimensional Data Modeling techniques.
- Extract and interpret Informatica Metadata repository data and implement Fine Grain Access Control Audit (FGACA) to safeguard Medicaid, Pharmacy, and HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI).
- Analyze and write complex UNIX scripts to validate/FTP files and monitor Informatica workflows.
- Perform Informatica administration tasks including installation, patching, deployment, and repository optimization across platforms.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Skill Level: Expert (84+ months of IT experience providing guidance to large teams, demonstrating top-tier industry domain knowledge).
Requested Qualifications & Experience
- Informatica ETL: 84+ months using Informatica PowerCenter 10.5.x (or higher) and Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) in a data warehouse environment, including complex mapping development.
- Informatica Administration: 84+ months performing installation, patching, metadata analysis, code migration, and repository optimization.
- Healthcare Data Systems: 84+ months analyzing and converting heterogeneous health system data (admission, discharge, census, billing, Medicaid, Pharmacy) into ETL code.
- Data Security & Oracle: 84+ months with Oracle technologies, specifically implementing Virtual Private Database (VPD) and Fine-Grained Auditing (FGACA) to protect HIPAA/PHI data.
- OS / Scripting: 60+ months of experience with UNIX and/or LINUX operating systems.
- Team Leadership: 60+ months collaborating as a technical team lead in PowerCenter ETL and data warehouse architecture design.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Information Science, or a related field.
