Summary

Basic Location-Remote

Role Summary:
Responsible for developing, integrating, and maintaining software solutions that support Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) and radar-based data processing. The role involves working with radar data, geospatial information, software algorithms, and visualization tools to support analysis and mission applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software for processing and analyzing radar and geospatial data.
  • Work with radar data products, imagery, metadata, and geospatial datasets.
  • Implement algorithms for radar data processing, detection, classification, and analysis.
  • Integrate radar processing components with GEOINT and mission software systems.
  • Develop tools for visualization, data exploitation, and geospatial analysis.
  • Perform software testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Support system integration and troubleshooting of radar/GEOINT applications.
  • Collaborate with systems engineers, radar engineers, data scientists, and domain experts.
  • Develop technical documentation and support design and code reviews.
  • Ensure software solutions meet performance, reliability, and security requirements.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Geomatics, Remote Sensing, or related field.
  • Strong programming skills in C++, Python, Java, or similar languages.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and object-oriented programming.
  • Basic knowledge of radar systems, radar signal/data processing, or remote sensing.
  • Understanding of GIS/geospatial concepts and coordinate systems.
  • Experience with data processing, algorithms, APIs, and databases.
  • Familiarity with Linux and Git/version control.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
