Job Summary

Value technology seeking an experienced API Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, .NET Core, C#, REST APIs, Angular, and cloud-native application development. The ideal candidate will have experience modernizing legacy .NET applications into scalable microservices and deploying them using Azure Kubernetes Service or Azure App Services.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop cloud-native applications using Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Logic Apps.
Modernize legacy .NET applications into cloud-native microservices architecture.
Develop, enhance, and support applications using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, Angular, REST APIs, Web APIs, and Web Services.
Maintain legacy applications developed using ASP.NET WebForms, jQuery, JavaScript, LINQ, and Entity Framework.
Implement application security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Azure Active Directory.
Configure and monitor application performance using Azure Monitor and other monitoring tools.
Deploy and manage applications using Azure DevOps.
Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
Serve as a subject-matter expert for asset-management and technology platforms.
Work with stakeholders, senior management, and key decision-makers to manage expectations and deliver project objectives.
Troubleshoot application issues and provide production support.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive software development experience, preferably within a financial-services organization.
5+ years of experience with SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
5+ years of experience developing web applications and REST APIs using .NET Core and Entity Framework.
Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, OAuth 2.0, JWT, LINQ, and Web Services.
Front-end development experience using Angular, Bootstrap, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Strong knowledge of Azure cloud architecture, scalability, high availability, fault tolerance, and database concepts.
Experience designing, deploying, and supporting scalable cloud-based solutions.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail.
Experience communicating with technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior management.
