Job Details
VetsEZ is seeking a motivated Pega Developer to join our team to support a Department of Veterans (VA) project. In this role, you will develop and maintain applications on the Pega platform, collaborating with business analysts and developers to design and implement solutions.
The candidate must reside within the continental US.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain Pega applications within Agile SAFe teams.
- Collaborate with solution architects and Business Analysts to ensure architecture compliance, meet security requirements, and adhere to design and development standards.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, support automated deployments, and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
- Test, debug, and monitor application performance using Pega s built-in tools, including performance monitors, database traces, and logs/alerts.
- Ensure compliance with federal policies, privacy and 508 accessibility standards
- Engage with stakeholders and clients, leveraging excellent communication skills to present solutions and gather feedback.
- Integrate databases, legacy software, and online services to streamline processes and deliver seamless solutions.
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology or related degree.
- 7+ years Pega PRPC v7.x+ experience (including Smart Claims & Healthcare Foundation).
- 3+ years Java development experience.
- Certified Senior System Architect CSSA certification required; Lead System Architect LSA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Pega architecture and PRPC implementation, including Direct Capture of Objectives DCO, enterprise Class Structure, Ruleset design and REST/SOAP integrations.
- Hands-on development using Pega rules and features such as Flows, Activities, UI, Agents, SLAs, and Connectors.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience working with Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or other health-related organizations desired.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-stakeholder, Agile, and DevSecOps environment.
- Ability to obtain a government clearance.
