Summary:
This is a unique opportunity for an IT professional who combines strong technical support skills with native-level Japanese language capabilities. The role offers exposure beyond traditional help desk support, including Microsoft cloud technologies, cybersecurity, global technology initiatives, and cross-border IT coordination. * Support Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID administration, including accounts, permissions, and access management
* Assist with device deployment, configuration, maintenance, and IT asset management
* Support endpoint security, incident response activities, IT documentation, and general technology operations
* Partner with internal IT teams and external vendors to troubleshoot issues and improve IT services

Global IT Coordination:
* Help coordinate technology-related activities between U.S.-based teams and colleagues in Japan
* Communicate technical requirements, business needs, risks, and operational considerations in both Japanese and English
* Support discussions involving technology projects, cybersecurity, AI, digital transformation, and other global initiatives
* Assist with cross-cultural communication and collaboration between U.S. and Japanese stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
* Microsoft certifications such as MS-900, AZ-900, or AZ-104 are valued but not required
* Approximately 3-5 years of hands-on IT experience in help desk, desktop support, systems administration, Microsoft 365 administration, or similar IT operations
* Native-level Japanese proficiency, including strong professional written and verbal business communication
* Professional working proficiency in English
* Hands-on knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, identity/access management, and end-user computing
* Understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and VPN
* Familiarity with MFA, endpoint security, cybersecurity practices, and incident management
* Experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure, SharePoint/OneDrive administration, PowerShell, Microsoft Defender, or Windows Server is a plus
* Previous professional experience working in Japan or within a Japanese business environment is strongly preferred
* Ability to communicate comfortably with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Strong customer-service mindset, troubleshooting skills, and ability to manage competing priorities
* Willingness to travel internationally when business needs require

Why This Role?
