Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer designs, develops, and deploys custom web applications and components within the AEM CMS platform. Key responsibilities include creating OSGi bundles, designing editable templates/components (Touch-UI), integrating with Adobe Marketing Cloud tools, and configuring Dispatchers for performance, often working with Java, JavaScript, HTL, and Sling Models.

Key Responsibilities

Development:Design, develop, and test web components and pages using AEM Sites (HTML/Sightly, CSS, JavaScript) and backend services (Java, Apache Sling, Apache Felix).
System Architecture:Configure AEM authoring, publish, and dispatcher environments to ensure security and performance.
Integration:Implement integrations between AEM and third-party systems or Adobe Marketing Cloud tools like Analytics, Target, or Asset Manager.
Component Creation:Develop reusable components, templates, workflows, and dialogs using Touch-UI.
Maintenance & Debugging:Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing AEM applications for better usability and performance.
Collaboration:Work with business analysts to convert user stories into functional, scalable software solutions.

Required Technical Skills

AEM Core:Proficient in AEM 6.x/AEM as a Cloud Service, CRXDE, and JCR.
Backend:Strong Java/J2EE experience, including OSGi services and Sling Models.
Frontend:HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive frameworks.
Tools:Maven for build automation and Git for version control.
