Need someone who know LMS - Learning Management System.

As a Software Engineer, you will be serving as the technical bridge between POET (an internal training team for Design and Engineering Community), instructional design, IT, and the end users.

The individual in this role applies software engineering principles and instructional design practices to design, develop a scalable digital learning environment with custom features, integrated data flows, and automated workflows that enhance training delivery and operational efficiency.

This role is responsible for driving process innovation, drive accountability with IT through deep technical expertise, and leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all POET applications & resource releases. By designing AI-driven solutions and automating workflows, the ideal candidate will enhance learning experiences and ensure seamless collaboration across business units.

Essential Job Duties

1. Technical Leadership & Accountability:

o Leverage SQL/data analytics to evaluate system performance, data integrity, and user feedback – while working closely with IT for resolving gaps and holding them accountable.

o Design and implement AI agents to automate repetitive tasks, enhance user workflows, and improve learning outcomes (e.g., chatbots for support, adaptive learning assistants).

o Analyze learning data (e.g., Learning Management System (LMS) usage, completion rates) to identify trends and recommend improvements.

2. Process Hacking & Innovation:

o Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in learning workflows using technical and creative problem-solving.

o Prototype and pilot AI-driven solutions (e.g., automated certificate generation, personalized learning paths).

o Collaborate with stakeholders to reengineer processes for efficiency and scalability.

3. Integration & Translation:

o Translate learning experience and UX/UI requirements into clean, scalable front-end code.

o Build and maintain reusable LMS components that support consistent learning experiences.

o Develop intuitive interfaces that help learners, instructors, and admins navigate content and resolve issues.

o Collaborate with Learning Experience Designers and Product Managers to clarify requirements and refine learner interactions

o Work closely with platform and backend teams to integrate APIs, synchronize learning data, and ensure seamless content delivery

o Ensure consistent UI behavior and accessibility across courses, modules, and integrated learning tools

4. Testing and Deployment

o Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet both functional and technical standards.

o Overall, champion cross-functional collaboration, bridging gaps between POET, instructional design, IT, and learners.

o Troubleshoot technical issues and fine-tune application performance for scalability and responsiveness

5. Content & Platform Management:

o Curate and manage content libraries in LMS platforms (e.g., Percipio, SuccessFactors), ensuring accuracy and accessibility.

o Monitor and optimize digital learning tools for performance, usability, and alignment with educational goals.

6.

Collaboration & Support

o Operational and general technical support for the POET team, under direction of leadership, includes but is not limited to:

§ Content, file, and technology management
