Delta One Developer

Onsite in NYC 3/days week.

As a Full Stack developer, you will be working across the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, covering the inception, development, testing, release and ongoing maintenance of a product or service. You would be working with the business stakeholders, architects and other engineers in a culture of collaboration.
Role:

• Join our agile, high-performing development team to build and enhance systems for the Delta1 business, supporting equities front office traders worldwide. We are looking for a dedicated, self-motivated team player who strives for technological excellence and can deliver results within tight timelines.
• This is a hands-on, delivery-oriented technical role involving analysis, coding, testing, and direct interaction with business users. While strong knowledge of equities trading is highly valued, a passion for learning and applying new knowledge is equally important. The position requires close teamwork and regular collaboration with technical peers.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver incremental, non-breaking changes to production that add business value
• Provide ongoing production support and address issues on a priority basis
• Consult on business requirements, providing insights on technology capabilities and constraints
• Maintain and enhance the stability and reliability of production environments
• Collaborate daily with business teams in London, Hong Kong, New York, and other locations, coordinating with global teams to meet business and project objectives.

Mandatory Skills / Experience:

• Prior experience with equity derivatives and equities knowledge
• Strong business acumen and awareness of how IT systems drive business goals
• Proficient in Java/JEE design and development, with strong skills in requirements analysis, system design, and architecture
• Current hands-on experience in Java 17, Spring Boot, Microservices, PostgreSQL& Mongo database
• Experience in UI technologies React
• Exposure Investigation and Resolution and performance testing
• Experience in delivering solution through Agile methodology - and DevOps tooling such as JIRA, Maven, Ansible etc.
• Familiarity with cloud platform (Google Cloud Platform) is plus
