Role: UI/UX Designer II
Location: Hybrid (60% Remote / 40% Onsite) Madison, WI
Work Authorization: No H1B / No CPT
Requirement: Candidate must reside in Wisconsin or relocate within 30 days
Onboarding: Initial 5-day onsite onboarding required
Key Skills Required:
4+ years of experience designing accessible, mobile-friendly web applications
Experience with WCAG 2.1 AA and ADA Section 508 accessibility standards
Front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Angular (or similar frameworks)
Experience using accessibility testing tools such as Lighthouse, Axe Dev, NVDA, ARIA, JAWS, and ANDI
Proficiency with Figma or Adobe XD for wireframes, prototypes, and user flows
Strong communication skills to translate accessibility requirements into practical UI standards
Responsibilities Include:
Establish UI/UX standards and accessibility processes across enterprise applications
Conduct accessibility testing and compliance reviews
Develop wireframes, mockups, and responsive UI designs
Create documentation, templates, and compliance metrics
Collaborate with development teams, architects, and project stakeholders in an Agile environment
