RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Walnut Creek, CA that is seeking a Data Engineer.
Summary:
The Data Engineer applies intermediate-level data engineering skills to build, enhance, and maintain the Data Warehouse (EDW) supporting Reporting, Analytics, Agentic AI, and Strategic AI use cases. This role is ideal for an engineer with 2+ years of hands-on experience in Google Cloud environments, strong Python and Airflow expertise, and prior exposure to telecommunications data platforms.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Google Cloud Platform certifications are a plus, but not required
* Prior experience working on telecommunications or contact center-related data systems, including exposure to Avaya, Genesys, or similar telephony platforms
* Experience working within Agile software development teams
2+ years of professional experience working in a Google Cloud Platform environment, specifically with:
* Google Cloud Storage
* BigQuery
* Airflow (Cloud Composer)
* Python-based data pipelines
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
