Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager AI/ML to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong project/program management experience combined with a solid understanding of AI/ML technologies, data platforms, cloud environments, and software development lifecycles.
This role will work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, software engineers, product teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership to ensure AI/ML projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI/ML projects, from requirements gathering and planning through deployment and production support.
• Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, resource plans, and delivery roadmaps.
• Manage project scope, priorities, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Data Engineers, Software Engineers, DevOps, Product Managers, and Business Analysts.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable AI/ML initiatives.
• Track project progress, budgets, resources, deliverables, and key performance indicators.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and delivery forecasts to executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Manage multiple concurrent AI/ML initiatives and ensure alignment across teams.
• Support development and implementation of machine learning models, generative AI, NLP, computer vision, predictive analytics, and AI-powered applications.
• Coordinate data readiness, model development, testing, validation, deployment, and monitoring activities.
• Work with engineering and cloud teams to support scalable AI/ML solutions across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Ensure appropriate documentation, governance, security, compliance, and responsible AI practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to define priorities, acceptance criteria, and measurable business outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement in AI/ML delivery processes, methodologies, and operational practices.

Required Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience in IT Project Management, Program Management, or Technical Project Management.
• 3+ years of experience managing AI/ML, Data Science, Analytics, or Generative AI projects.
• Strong understanding of the AI/ML project lifecycle, including data preparation, model development, training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, project governance, risk management, and stakeholder management.
• Experience managing cross-functional technical teams.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, APIs, data pipelines, ML platforms, and cloud-based data technologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG, NLP, or MLOps.
• Experience with AI/ML platforms and frameworks such as Azure AI, AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, Databricks, MLflow, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Experience managing projects involving LLM applications, prompt engineering, vector databases, AI agents, or RAG architectures.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
• Experience working in enterprise environments with large-scale data and AI transformation initiatives.
