Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist / AI & Optimization Consultant to lead advanced analytics, AI/ML, and optimization initiatives for a large enterprise client. This role involves solving complex business problems using predictive modeling, operations research, and large-scale data processing.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end data science and AI/ML projects

  • Develop innovative solutions for complex business challenges with a focus on client outcomes

  • Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables

  • Build predictive models and optimization solutions

  • Work with large-scale, distributed datasets and real-time/batch processing systems

  • Implement model scoring and decision-making frameworks

  • Conduct market research and communicate insights to stakeholders

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and workflows

  • Perform ad hoc analysis and provide actionable insights

  • Mentor junior data scientists and support team development

  • Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders


Required Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in Data Science, AI/ML, or related fields (consulting experience preferred)

  • Strong expertise in Predictive Analytics, Statistics, and ML Ops

  • Experience with Operations Research & Optimization modeling

  • Hands-on experience with solvers like Gurobi or CPLEX

  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, and/or C#

  • Experience building and optimizing models for:

    • Resource Allocation

    • Scheduling

    • Cost Optimization

    • Network Modeling & Strategic Planning

  • Ability to analyze complex datasets and deliver business insights

  • Strong communication skills to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences


Preferred Skills

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field

  • Experience in enterprise-scale data science projects

  • Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills

  • Experience in distributed computing and large data environments

  • Ability to work independently and drive outcomes
