To support our growth, we are currently seeking a Field Verification Specialist to join our energy efficiency team located in Seattle area. The selected candidates will coordinate all desktop quality assurance activities. In addition, they will assist with the development, documentation, and implementation of QA/QC programs, plans, and procedures. They will also conduct QA investigations of nonconforming program contractors, coordinate corrective actions, and maintain QA records using Sightline.

What you will be doing:
In this position you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the Quality Care and Quality Assurance efforts for energy efficient programs in Seattle metro. Knowledge of energy efficient technologies and practices related to Lighting, HVAC and water heating systems and overall residential and commercial building energy technologies or experience in the building trades is a plus.
  • Conducting desk review quality assurance/quality control of program partner reports
  • Liaising with subcontractors, stakeholders, and customer service representatives
  • Collaborating with team members to brainstorm ideas for process improvements
  • Developing and updating client reports and documents
  • Creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets, PDF forms and databases for internal tracking
  • Producing communications and other informative materials for subcontractors alongside changes to policies and procedures
  • Research on market trends and needs
  • Conducting field inspections; for custom projects and select utility projects
  • Other duties as required to support our work nationally and provide direct support to division leadership as needed
  • Must have a reliable vehicle for travel. Requirements are up to 50% of the time within upstate Seattle metro for post installation inspections (reimbursement for mileage provided)

What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):
  • Bachelor's degree in Energy, Building Science, Sustainability, Construction or related discipline OR High School Diploma and 4+ years experience in energy efficiency, quality assurance, administration, data management and/or related fields
  • Must have valid driver's license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
