Project manager

Role: Enterprise Project Manager – Consultant
Location: South Carolina (Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite / 3 Days Remote)
Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of enterprise project management experience, a valid PMP certification, and a proven track record of delivering large-scale infrastructure and cloud transformation programs. Strong expertise in Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint Online, along with experience managing multiple concurrent projects, vendors, budgets, and executive stakeholders, is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent IT infrastructure and operations projects involving networks, servers, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and technology modernization.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, risk registers, and project documentation.
• Manage project execution from initiation through implementation, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, executive leadership, and external partners.
• Use Jira for project tracking, dependency management, deliverable monitoring, and program-level reporting.
• Administer Confluence spaces and maintain project documentation, knowledge repositories, decision logs, and governance procedures.
• Manage and optimize SharePoint Online sites, project portals, and document repositories for collaboration and records management.
• Facilitate project meetings, stakeholder reviews, technical discussions, and status updates while tracking action items to completion.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, resource constraints, and dependencies.
• Manage vendors, coordinate cross-functional teams, and oversee projects exceeding $1 million in total project value.
• Establish and improve project governance, reporting standards, operational processes, and delivery practices.
• Ensure projects maintain operational stability and comply with applicable agency standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

1. 10+ years of progressive enterprise project management experience leading infrastructure, cloud, data center, network, cybersecurity, and technology modernization initiatives.
2. PMP certification – mandatory.
3. Proven experience delivering large-scale infrastructure programs and transformation initiatives.
4. Advanced Jira usage and administration skills.
5. Confluence administration, documentation management, and governance experience.
6. Hands-on project management experience with infrastructure implementations and cloud migrations.
7. Strong vendor management and stakeholder coordination skills.
8. Experience managing multiple concurrent enterprise programs with a combined project value exceeding $1 million.
9. Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional technical teams and communicate effectively with executive leadership.
10. Strong skills in project planning, budgeting, risk management, scheduling, reporting, and governance.

Preferred Qualifications

• SharePoint Online administration and site management.
• Azure DevOps experience.
• Medicaid or healthcare industry experience.
• State or federal government project management experience.
• Microsoft Power Platform experience.
• Additional certifications such as ACP, SAFe, or Scrum.

Education and Certifications

• Required: PMP certification.
• Preferred: ACP, SAFe, or Scrum certifications.
