Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in modern software engineering practices, cloud development, and Agile delivery and a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, mentor engineers, and drive enterprise-scale solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a firm-wide technical resource on large-scale programs across multiple operating systems and infrastructures.
- Apply deep expertise in at least one technology and design technique to deliver resilient, secure, and scalable applications.
- Lead and coach teams in Agile frameworks, fostering effective engineering practices.
- Mentor engineers as a coach in at least one technical skill and promote continuous improvement.
- Champion Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Test Driven Development across project teams.
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions with attention to resiliency, security, and operational excellence.
- Evaluate cutting-edge technologies and trends and influence their adoption to meet business objectives.
- Represent the organization through thought leadership, including presentations or publications, as appropriate.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Expertise in at least one core technology stack and design technique, with proficiency across the software development lifecycle and toolsets.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Test Driven Development.
- Strong knowledge of cloud development and security and resiliency best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership in Agile delivery and team cultivation.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and mentor engineers.
- Experience working across large, multi-platform environments and enterprise programs.
Preferred Skills:
- Public cloud experience (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) with infrastructure-as-code and observability tools.
- Experience presenting at industry events or contributing technical articles or open-source projects.
