Security Architect

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Security Architect to lead the design and architecture of secure cloud solutions, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure, AWS, cloud security, networking, privacy, and compliance.

The Security Architect will develop security architecture and lead technical discussions and decisions related to cloud security, privacy, compliance, and infrastructure. This role will also support the migration of on-premises applications and services to Azure, provide technical guidance to architecture and engineering teams, and mentor technical staff.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on and architectural experience across Azure and AWS, with expertise in cloud security, networking, infrastructure, identity, disaster recovery, monitoring, and hybrid-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain security architecture for Azure, AWS, and hybrid-cloud environments.
• Lead technical discussions and architectural decisions related to cloud security, privacy, risk, and compliance.
• Design secure and scalable cloud infrastructure and networking solutions.
• Support the migration of on-premises applications, infrastructure, and services to Azure.
• Evaluate security risks and recommend appropriate cloud security controls and solutions.
• Provide technical guidance on firewalls, network security, identity, access management, data protection, and connectivity.
• Work with architects, developers, engineers, and infrastructure teams to implement secure cloud solutions.
• Mentor architects and engineering staff on cloud security architecture and best practices.
• Support operational and security requirements within hybrid-cloud environments.
• Stay current with Microsoft Azure, AWS, cybersecurity, cloud architecture, and emerging security technologies.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
