Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Power BI & Google Cloud Platform Data Analytics Consultant for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Minneapolis, MN. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. We are seeking an experienced Senior Power BI & Google Cloud Platform Data Analytics Consultant to support enterprise analytics, reporting, process intelligence, and Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) initiatives. This contractor will play a critical role in designing scalable data pipelines, developing executive dashboards, and implementing KPI frameworks. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in Power BI, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), data engineering, and business intelligence to transform data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and reporting solutions
- Build executive, operational, and strategic reporting that enables data-driven decision making
- Develop complex data models, semantic layers, KPIs, calculations, and DAX measures
- Design, build, and optimize data ingestion pipelines into Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) using ETL/ELT processes
- Work with BigQuery and cloud-native services to support scalable analytics solutions
- Partner with business teams to define, document, and operationalize KPI frameworks
- Develop and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) reporting for Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) and operational process management programs
- Perform trend analysis, forecasting, statistical analysis, and operational assessments to identify emerging risks and optimization opportunities
Requirements: - 5+ years of hands-on experience developing Power BI solutions
- 3+ years of experience working within Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
- Advanced experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL
- Advanced experience with Data Modeling, BigQuery, ETL/ELT Development, and Data Integration/Transformation
- Experience building executive dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions
- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and business intelligence best practices
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and enterprise environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Desired skills: - Experience supporting Human-in-the-Loop (HITL), AI Operations, Process Intelligence, Automation, or Digital Transformation programs
- Experience implementing Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, or Continuous Improvement frameworks
- Proficiency with Python, APIs, and Git-based source control
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Financial services or highly regulated industry experience
Pay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hour
