Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and enterprise data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, SQL, Snowflake, AWS, ETL/ELT, and Apache Airflow, with experience building modern cloud-based data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python and SQL.
Build and optimize data models in Snowflake for analytics and reporting.
Develop data ingestion frameworks from multiple sources (APIs, databases, files, streaming).
Implement orchestration workflows using Apache Airflow.
Work with AWS services including S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, and IAM.
Optimize SQL queries and improve data pipeline performance.
Ensure data quality, governance, security, and metadata management.
Collaborate with data analysts, BI developers, architects, and business stakeholders.
Support CI/CD deployments and infrastructure automation for data engineering projects.
Mentor junior engineers and participate in architecture discussions.

Required Skills

10+ years of Data Engineering experience
Strong Python programming
Advanced SQL and query optimization
Snowflake (Data Warehouse, Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks)
AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, CloudWatch)
Apache Airflow
ETL/ELT pipeline development
Data Modeling (Star & Snowflake Schema)
Git, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum

Preferred Skills

dbt for data transformation
PySpark / Spark
Kafka or other streaming platforms
Terraform
Tableau or Power BI integration
Healthcare, Banking, or Retail domain experience

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
