Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Data Engineers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and enterprise data products.
- Build and optimize data processing solutions to ensure performance, reliability, and data quality.
- Develop and maintain data models, analytics frameworks, and modern data platform solutions.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to support data integration, analytics, and continuous platform improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
|
|
Experience
|
8+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise data products and scalable data engineering solutions.
|
|
Technical Skills
|
SQL, Scala, Apache Spark, Data Pipelines, Data Modeling, Iceberg, Trino, Superset
|
|
Business / Domain Skills
|
Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Product Development, Business Intelligence, Data Quality, Performance Optimization
|
|
Communication
|
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
|
|
Documentation
|
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
|
|
Work Authorization
|
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building and maintaining large-scale, production-grade data pipelines using modern data platforms.
- Knowledge of AI/ML, GenAI, recommendation systems, feature engineering, or AI-powered data products.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
