Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team for a long-term contract opportunity with the State of Ohio. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, customization, configuration, integrations, and implementation of enterprise-level ServiceNow solutions.

The candidate must be local to Columbus, Ohio, and should be available for an in-person interview.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules based on business requirements.

• Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions.

• Work on ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.

• Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and IntegrationHub.

• Customize ServiceNow forms, tables, views, and application components to meet business needs.

• Develop and maintain Service Portal components, widgets, and user interfaces.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and scalable ServiceNow solutions.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve ServiceNow application issues and performance-related problems.

• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, architects, and other technical teams.

• Perform unit testing, system testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Maintain technical documentation and follow ServiceNow development best practices.

• Support ServiceNow upgrades, deployments, and ongoing platform enhancements.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.

• Extensive experience with ServiceNow platform development and customization.

• Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.

• Experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions.

• Experience with Flow Designer and workflow development.

• Knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM modules and enterprise application development.

• Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
