JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Network Architect IV to join an enterprise-scale Data Recovery and Security organization. This role focuses on designing and securing highly available, resilient network infrastructure to ensure data protection and continuity in the event of cyber incidents or outages.

This is a hands-on architect role for professionals with deep experience in large enterprise environments, combining strategic design with practical implementation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Architect, design, and secure enterprise-level network infrastructure across on-prem and hybrid cloud environments

• Lead network architecture strategy focused on security, resilience, and recovery

• Serve as senior technical authority for network design and connectivity

• Design secure connectivity between on-prem infrastructure and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)

• Architect and implement advanced network security solutions including firewalls and segmentation

• Guide network engineers while owning architectural decisions

• Design and manage load-balancing solutions for high availability

• Oversee routing and switching architectures (BGP, OSPF)

• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, DevOps, and Cloud teams

• Maintain detailed network documentation and diagrams

• Evaluate and integrate new technologies such as SDN, SD-WAN, and Data Diode

• Clearly communicate personal technical contributions

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 15+ years of progressive network engineering experience

• Senior, Principal, or Architect-level background

• Experience in large enterprise environments

• Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco networking

• Extensive experience with Palo Alto Firewalls

• Experience with F5 Load Balancers

• Deep understanding of network security architecture

• Proven experience connecting on-prem environments securely to cloud

• Strong routing and switching background (BGP, OSPF)

• Experience designing infrastructure from the ground up

• Strong communication and leadership skills

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Data Diode technology

• Government or regulated industry background

• SDN / SD-WAN experience

• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer
