"Senior Business Analyst / Data Analyst (Onshore)Experience 10–15 yearsPrimary Responsibilities • Lead business discovery sessions and requirements workshops with business stakeholders, SMEs, and product owners across multiple insurance domains.• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and data requirements for enterprise data modernization initiatives.• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, Enterprise Architects, Data Modelers, and Data Engineering teams.• Analyze existing business processes, reports, KPIs, and data flows to identify opportunities for modernization and standardization.• Define and document business rules, data definitions, business processes, and functional specifications.• Work closely with the Lead Data Modeler to identify business entities, attributes, relationships, hierarchies, and business terminology across enterprise domains.• Validate that enterprise data models accurately represent business processes and reporting requirements.• Perform fit-gap analysis between the existing EDW solution and target-state enterprise data architecture.• Review and validate source-to-target mappings, transformation logic, and business calculations with business stakeholders.• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional documentation to support Agile delivery.• Support data validation, business acceptance testing (BAT/UAT), and sign-off activities.• Assist in developing business glossary, KPI definitions, metadata documentation, and semantic layer specifications.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business requirements are translated into scalable and reusable enterprise data solutions.Mandatory Skills Strong Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain knowledge, Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Requirements Gathering, Workshop Facilitation, Process Modeling, SQL, Data Warehousing concepts, Enterprise Reporting, User Story creation, Acceptance Criteria definition, Strong documentation skills, Stakeholder Management.
