Summary
The NC Health Information Exchange Authority (NC HIEA) is seeking a Business Technology Administrator to oversee the administration, configuration, and continuous optimization of key business technology solutions. This role manages enterprise platforms—including Salesforce, Asana, Smartsheet, Jira, and SAS Viya—by handling user access, permissions, software subscriptions, automations, and system documentation. Working closely with both technical and business stakeholders, you will drive platform adoption, streamline operational workflows, and deliver end-user training to maximize technology performance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Administration: Administer SaaS platforms (Salesforce, Asana, Smartsheet, Jira, SAS Viya, and Microsoft 365). Manage user provisioning, security roles, licensing, and subscription tracking.
- Configuration & Automation: Build and maintain workflows, forms, interactive dashboards, process templates, reports, and system automations to streamline organizational operations.
- Documentation & Knowledge Management: Develop comprehensive technical and operational documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, quick reference guides, and configuration standards.
- Training & Enablement: Create and deliver user training programs, instructional materials, and job aids to ensure consistent, efficient adoption of enterprise software.
- Process Improvement & Support: Collaborate with business units to analyze operational pain points, translate requirements into practical technology solutions, manage vendor communications, and provide dedicated end-user support.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- SaaS Platform Administration (5+ Years): Proven hands-on administration of enterprise platforms (Salesforce, Smartsheet, Asana, Jira, Microsoft 365, and SAS Viya).
- System Configuration (5+ Years): Extensive experience creating custom workflows, forms, dashboards, automated reports, and role-based permissions.
- Licensing & Documentation (3+ Years): Expertise managing software subscriptions and building user manuals, SOPs, and knowledge base content.
- Training & Communication (3+ Years): Strong background in delivering formal technical training, producing instructional materials, and presenting to non-technical teams.
- Business Analysis & Support (3+ Years): Demonstrated ability to evaluate business processes, recommend functional technology improvements, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-touch stakeholder support.
