Application Support Analyst

Location: Remote

Role Overview

This position is for an Application Support Analyst responsible for supporting, configuring, and optimizing clinical, pharmacy, and revenue cycle applications within the Home Infusion business. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, vendors, and internal IT teams, including server and networking groups, to ensure critical applications remain stable, reliable, and aligned with operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day support, configuration, and troubleshooting for clinical, pharmacy, and revenue cycle applications.
  • Write and utilize SQL queries to troubleshoot data issues, validate application data, and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Work directly with server, networking, and infrastructure teams to implement, deploy, and support applications.
  • Manage application upgrades, patches, releases, testing, and post-deployment validation.
  • Monitor and manage fax queues and related document workflows.
  • Troubleshoot application integrations, interfaces, and performance issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve production issues.
  • Create and maintain application documentation, support procedures, and release notes.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare, security, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications

Experience: 3-6+ years of experience in Application Support or as a Systems Analyst supporting healthcare, pharmacy, clinical, or enterprise revenue cycle applications. Experience must include supporting third-party or vendor-hosted applications, as well as direct work with server, networking, and infrastructure teams on application implementations, upgrades, and releases.

Technical Skills: Strong SQL skills are required.

Additional Skills: Candidates must possess strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and communication skills, with an ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CPR+ or CareTend.
  • Experience in Home Infusion, Pharmacy Operations, or Revenue Cycle.
  • Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, APIs, or other healthcare integrations.
  • Experience with Power BI and Microsoft SQL Server.
