Base Pay Range: $82,245 - $116,033.25

Position SummaryWe are seeking an Electrical Engineer I to join our team and support engineering, manufacturing, and customer support by effectively managing electrical components and supply chain processes. This role emphasizes hands-on involvement with sourcing,
qualifying, and ensuring the availability of key components for new and existing products. You will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to optimize product design for manufacturability and supply continuity. As part of a multi-disciplinary technical team, you will participate in evaluating new technologies, managing supplier relationships, and troubleshooting supply-related issues throughout the product lifecycle. Your contributions will help drive successful product launches and ensure reliable field performance.
This position reports to the Engineering Manager and is located at our operations facility in Brooklyn Park, MN. This is a 5 day per week in-office position.

What You'll Be Doing This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working both individually and collaboratively, staying on top of tasks, and making a meaningful impact across teams and projects. Below are some key responsibilities of the role.
Key Responsibilities- Research and qualify electrical and optical components
- Design analog and digital circuits for photoelectric products.
- Perform schematic entry and board layout.
- Evaluate electrical designs and product performance to ensure products meet requirements.
- Manage product documentation, including bill of materials (BOMs), procedural build documents, and engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Provide work direction to Technicians as needed.
- Collaborate with Optical, Mechanical, Software, and Manufacturing Engineers to deliver globally competitive products.

Required- 0-2 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- PCB schematic capture and layout experience
- Experience with electronic design tools (Schematic editor, SPICE, etc.),
- Effective use of troubleshooting and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, custom test platforms, spectrum analyzer, etc.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and provide timely results
Preferred- Analog / small signal electrical design expertise
- Familiarity with software programming
- Demonstrated experience in embedded system design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and thrive in a team environment
- Experience working in industrial products industry
