Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Interpreting and understanding blueprints, job routings, tooling instructions, and standard charts for specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions
- Performing light programming tasks as required through an understanding of G and M codes
- Setting up and operating machine tools and machines
- Modifying tools as needed to meet project requirements
- Working collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient and effective project completion
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CNC Machinist role
- Demonstrated proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints, job routings, and tooling instructions
- Experience with light programming tasks utilizing MasterCAM is required
- Hands-on experience with machine tools and machines, including setting up, operating, making fixtures, and assembling fixtures
- Ability to modify tools as needed
- Solid understanding of G and M codes, machine and fixturing set-up, canned cycles, and work offset coordinate system
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines
