Description
We are looking for a talented Designer / Art Director to join our team on a contract basis in Bloomington, Minnesota. In this role, you will use your creative expertise to develop visually compelling designs and concepts that align with project goals and client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects while collaborating with writers and other creative professionals to deliver high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
Create compelling designs and visual concepts that meet project objectives and align with brand guidelines.
Manage multiple projects effectively, ensuring quality standards, deadlines, and budgets are met.
Collaborate closely with writers and other team members to conceptualize and execute creative ideas.
Apply a keen eye for aesthetics and details to enhance the visual appeal of designs.
Utilize Adobe Creative Suite tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, to produce high-quality work.
Incorporate feedback and revise designs to achieve optimal results.
Coordinate and assist with photoshoots, including pre-production planning as needed.
Format and design presentations in PowerPoint to support project needs.
Maintain strong communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
Leverage knowledge of task management tools, such as Wrike, to organize and track project progress.
Requirements
A degree in commercial art, advertising design, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
5 plus of experience demonstrating attention to detail as a graphic designer or art director.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat.
Strong design skills and a portfolio showcasing your creative capabilities.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Experience in retouching and agency settings is preferred.
Knowledge of AI tools within Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with task management software like Wrike is a plus.
