Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst - IT Business Systems Analyst to bridge the gap between business operations, technology, and cybersecurity. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in cross-functional environments and is passionate about translating technical risks into meaningful business insights.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and OT (Operational Technology) teams to ensure systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with business goals. The focus is on enabling informed decision-making not enforcing controls by delivering clear, actionable risk insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to business and technical stakeholders
• Translate cybersecurity risks (e.g., vulnerabilities, OT exposures) into business impact and actionable recommendations
• Support decision-making by outlining risks, trade-offs, and remediation strategies
• Participate in security reviews for OT environments and hybrid IT/OT systems
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to understand real-world system usage
• Facilitate secure integration of new systems, vendors, and acquisitions
• Prioritize remediation efforts based on risk and operational impact
• Track remediation activities, timelines, and commitments
• Identify recurring risks and systemic issues across environments
• Contribute to risk assessments, exception handling, and security documentation
• Gather and document security requirements for non-technical stakeholders
• Develop clear reports, dashboards, and executive summaries
• Standardize processes, templates, and best practices to improve efficiency

Required Qualifications

• 6 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role
• Experience in one or more of the following domains:
  • OT / ICS / Industrial environments
  • Energy, utilities, or critical infrastructure
  • IT infrastructure, networking, or system administration
  • Cybersecurity, risk management, or vulnerability management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience in risk analysis, reporting, and stakeholder communication
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently across teams

Preferred Skills

• Experience with hybrid IT/OT environments
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and risk methodologies
• Experience working in regulated industries (energy, utilities, etc.)
• Strong documentation and visualization skills (reports, dashboards, metrics)
