Our client, a leading organization in facility management and engineering services, is seeking a dedicated Mobile HVAC/R Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Mobile HVAC/R Engineer, you will be instrumental in maintaining and optimizing critical building systems across multiple locations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Mobile HVAC/R Engineer
Location: Madison, WI (Floating between Escanaba, MI and Marquette, MI)
Pay rate: $43 to $45/hr
What\'s the Job?
\t- Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment in assigned facilities. \t
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. \t
- Conduct inspections of interior and exterior areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, and lighting systems. \t
- Troubleshoot and repair complex HVAC and refrigeration systems, ensuring energy efficiency and safety standards are met. \t
- Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo to document work performed and update work order statuses in real time.
What\'s Needed?
\t- Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment). \t
- Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, with a focus on HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and equipment maintenance. \t
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial or supermarket refrigeration systems. \t
- Valid state driver?s license and willingness to perform call-in work as required. \t
- Strong technical knowledge of system design, applications, and maintenance procedures.
