Senior Developer

Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Senior Developer for a contract position in Columbia, SC. The opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Lead design, development, and deployment of cloud-native applications
Ensure alignment with:
- Architectural standards
- Business goals
Review:
- Code merges
- CI/CD pipeline activity
Monitor builds and deployments (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
Build and integrate cloud-based solutions using AWS:
- Compute
- Storage
- Serverless services

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree OR
4 years of job-related work experience OR
2 years of job-related experience plus an Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree
Minimum 8 years of experience in:
- Application development
- Systems testing
- Other job-related IT experience

Software Engineering & Frameworks

Full stack development experience with:
- Java / Java EE ecosystems
- JavaScript frameworks
Agile methodology
Medicare domain experience

Cloud Platforms & Architecture

Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure
Experience with:
- Lift-and-shift
- Re-platforming projects
Design and build:
- Resilient
- High availability (HA)
- Fault-tolerant systems
Follow Cloud Well-Architected Framework
