About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to architect, build, and automate our Global Network Infrastructure across Datacenter and Multi-Cloud environments. This role is critical to supporting our Federal development and hosting services, ensuring stability, scalability, and security across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform Gov Clouds.
You’ll join a highly collaborative TechOps Infrastructure team that thrives on agility, innovation, and responsiveness. This is a chance to make a huge impact while working with cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and support Network & Security Infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform Gov Clouds.
Ensure network stability and performance across On-Premises and Public Cloud environments.
Monitor and resolve issues via the team’s support queue: troubleshoot, diagnose, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Architect and implement enterprise-scale networking solutions across Datacenter, Campus, Public Cloud, and Global WAN.
Drive automation initiatives using Python and Terraform to streamline operations.
Required Experience
7+ years in Network Engineering with proven expertise in architecture, design, and implementation at enterprise scale.
Proficiency in at least one major Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform). Certifications are a plus.
Strong knowledge of Enterprise Network Design (Datacenter, Campus, WAN, Cloud).
Deep understanding of Networking technologies: IPv4/IPv6, BGP/MBGP, VPN, L2 switching, VxLAN.
Hands-on with L2/L3 protocols and multiple hardware vendors (Cisco IOS, NX OS, ASR, Meraki, Broadcom, Mellanox, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet).
Experience with Load Balancers (Citrix NetScaler preferred, AVI, NGINX, HA Proxy).
Solid grasp of Network Security: Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), 802.1x, VPN technologies, and authentication systems.
Strong automation skills with Python and Terraform.
