Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Google Cloud Platform Platform Engineer to build, automate, secure, and operate cloud platforms on Google Cloud Platform. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform, Python, Terraform, and cloud security, with supporting experience in IAM, networking, CI/CD, SRE, Vertex AI, and Kubernetes.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure platform engineering solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform for automated, repeatable, and auditable cloud provisioning.
Create and enhance Python-based automation for cloud operations, monitoring, integrations, and platform tooling.
Implement security controls and guardrails across Google Cloud Platform environments, including identity, access, secrets, and policy enforcement.
Configure and support IAM models, service accounts, role design, and least-privilege access patterns.
Support Kubernetes-based platforms on Google Cloud Platform, including cluster configuration, workload deployment, and operational stability.
Collaborate with SRE and operations teams to improve observability, monitoring, incident response, and platform reliability.
Work on networking setup and connectivity patterns, including VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, DNS, and secure access design.
Enable and support Vertex AI platform capabilities as part of cloud-native and ML-enabled engineering environments.
Must-Have Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services and platform engineering practices.
Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and operational tooling.
Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
Good understanding of cloud security principles, access control, secrets management, and policy enforcement.
Experience with IAM, role design, and service account management in Google Cloud Platform.
