Job Description:The Role: Our site in
San Luis Obispo is seeking an
Electrical Engineer to join our team. The
Electrical Engineer is responsible for design, detailing, and documenting electrical and electro-mechanical systems used in Ultra High Purity (UHP) gas purification systems assembled at our facility.
What You'll Do: - Design electrical assemblies for new and legacy UHP gas purification systems. Coordinate with the mechanical, software, and control system designers and other engineering teammates.
- Size and select components as required to meet UHP gas purifier system requirements.
- Create solid models, drawings, system schematics and other required documents to support development and production of systems.
- Perform and document mathematical computations and other analysis as required to support product design.
- Work with component suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure products meet design requirements.
- Any other duties as assigned.
What We Seek: - BS Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills; ability to analyze data
- Experience using 3D modeling program (SolidWorks preferred)
- Experience using 2D drafting program (Draft sight preferred).
- Experience in semiconductor equipment manufacturing (desirable)
- Electrical design of process or capital equipment (desirable)
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio)
- Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
- Detail oriented and strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Able to work with all levels of employees and management within the organization
- Comfort and ability to work within ambiguity

- Compensation: $90,000-$100,000 per year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
