Introduction:
The IMS/IDMS DBA will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications using IMS DB/TM and IDMS. They will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of the databases and applications within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing applications using IMS DB/TM and IDMS
- Ensuring the performance, integrity, and security of the databases

- Troubleshooting and resolving database issues
- Performing database tuning and optimization
- Participating in the full software development lifecycle
- Following Agile methodologies for development and project management
Requirements:
Required Skills:
- Experience as an IMS/IDMS DBA
- Proficiency in COBOL and JCL
- Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
