QA Lead

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead with 12+ years of experience to lead and manage the quality assurance function. The candidate will be responsible for defining testing strategies, leading QA teams, ensuring product quality, and driving automation and process improvements across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the QA team across multiple projects
• Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases
• Oversee manual and automation testing efforts
• Ensure high-quality deliverables by enforcing QA standards and best practices
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders
• Drive test automation frameworks and improve test coverage
• Conduct risk analysis and ensure defect prevention strategies
• Monitor test execution, defect tracking, and reporting
• Mentor and guide QA team members
• Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Participate in release planning and go-live decisions
• Continuously improve QA processes and tools

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA
• Strong knowledge of STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle)
• Experience in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
• Proficiency in programming/scripting (Java, Python, JavaScript)
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Experience in performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner – optional)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Knowledge of DevOps practices
• Experience in Salesforce / ERP / Enterprise applications (if required)
• Certifications like ISTQB, CSTE are a plus
