SAS Platform Migration Engineer-New Jersey (Onsite)Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAS Platform Migration Engineer to lead and support migration initiatives from SAS 9.4 to SAS Viya. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAS platform setup, migration strategies, and strong problem-solving capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and configure SAS 9.4 environments from scratch, including SAS 9.4 M8 on RHEL
- Replicate and align new environments with existing SAS 9.4 M4 architecture
- Work with SFM, SFF modules, BOSS, and ODE components
- Lead and support migration from SAS 9.4 (legacy) to SAS Viya
- Provide hands-on support with SAS Viya platform
- Develop and maintain SAS scripts and assist in SAS to Python conversion
- Perform architecture reviews, system analysis, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide migration strategies and recommendations
Required Skills & Experience:
SAS 9.4 Platform (Expert Level):
- End-to-end setup and configuration of SAS 9.4 environments
- Experience with SAS 9.4 M8 on RHEL
- Strong knowledge of SFM, SFF, BOSS, and ODE
SAS Viya (Advanced Level):
- Hands-on experience with SAS Viya
- Migration from legacy SAS platforms to Viya
- SAS scripting and Python conversion exposure
- Architecture design and system investigation
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
