Job Overview

We are seeking a senior AEM Architect for a long-term contract engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise-level Adobe Experience Manager solutions and will be comfortable leading technical discussions with both business and development teams.

This role requires someone who can take ownership of AEM architecture, guide developers, and ensure best practices across implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and technical design for AEM 6.5 / AEM as a Cloud Service
• Design scalable components, templates, workflows, and integrations
• Define standards for Sling Models, OSGi services, HTL, and JCR structure
• Configure and optimize Dispatcher and caching strategies
• Integrate AEM with external systems (APIs, CRM, DAM, Analytics)
• Provide technical leadership to development teams
• Review code and enforce development best practices
• Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD and deployment strategy
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and performance bottlenecks

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of overall IT experience
• 4+ years of strong AEM architecture experience
• Deep understanding of AEM internals, including Sling, OSGi, and JCR
• Strong Java development background
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred)
• Experience with AEM Dispatcher configuration
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
